Unanimous approval for Greenoak Housing Association low-energy homes

The first 18 low- energy Passivhaus standard homes at Woodham Place and Oak Trees, Woking for Greenoak Housing Association have received unanimous approval at planning committee.

The proposals will replace obsolete sheltered housing with attractive flats for older people to facilitate downsizing from family accommodation and accommodate future accessibility and support needs. The scheme is to provide full lifetime homes that are future- proofed for both usability and climate change. The homes will also be to the low-energy Passivhaus Standard and be very affordable to run.
