Planning approval for Passivhaus Standard housing at Peaslake Farm

A fantastic start to the year, we are delighted to announce that our design for Passivhaus standard, affordable housing in Surrey Hills AONB has been granted planning consent.

The development will include four family homes and four apartments on a Rural Exception Site in Peaslake, Surrey. The development was instigated by Shere Parish Council and will be developed and managed in partnership with Greenoak Housing Association. The local community has been consulted, their input providing invaluable insight and feedback to help steer the design.

This will provide much needed housing at truly affordable rent for local people. The homes are designed to meet Lifetime Homes criteria, and will be built to low-energy Passivhaus standard, making them comfortable and affordable to run and maintain. The design has been developed with a sensitive approach to ensure the proposal does not hinder the surrounding idyllic context.

The project is set to start on site in mid-2022, we cannot wait to see and share the progress on site!
