Technical Solutions for Retrofitting UK Homes

Fresh off the press in our rapidly growing online Journal is our second Energiesprong UK Retrofit entry. Richard Partington explains and reflects on the technical roll out of our #NCH2050 Energiesprong UK Scheme in Nottingham. In this Journal entry we look at how the existing housing stock thermally upgraded by 'wrapping' the home in a self-supporting, external layer, and most importantly how this retrofit model can be applied for other Local Authority and Social Housing schemes.

The project recently was featured in #COP26 as a part of the Built Environment Virtual Pavilion as one of the seventeen sustainable projects showcasing the urgent role that buildings and cities will play as solution to the climate emergency.
