The Brickyard Live on our Website!

We are pleased to share our new webpage for The Brickyard, as well as photographs of progress on site! The Brickyard for London Borough of Newham will rebuild an area of fractured urban fabric in East Ham. Residents of new homes, elevated above a third floor podium shared garden, will have fantastic views back towards Docklands when the scheme is complete. While two stories of commercial/leisure uses will bring activity to the busy street.

The webpage details the development of the scheme following Studio Partington’s introduction to the project in early 2019, and highlights refinements to massing and structure that enabled the amount of concrete used in the frame to be reduced by 11 per cent from the previously consented timber frame scheme.

The Brickyard is currently under construction. Contractor ARJ Construction are making good progress with the concrete frame now up to third floor level, as you will see from our recent site photographs below.
