Ice breaker consultation event for Folkestone Road

We at Studio Partington firmly believe in community engagement so were pleased to meet residents and neighbours of 67-113 Folkestone Road yesterday evening to discuss new rooftop homes and opportunities for
improvements to the existing building and landscape. Airspace development, putting prefabricated homes on top of the local authority's buildings, is supported by Newham Council as an innovative way of increasing the supply of genuinely affordable social rent homes. Existing Folkestone Road tenants will be the first to be offered the eight new London affordable rent rooftop homes, freeing up family housing for those in temporary accommodation.
